A good voiceover starts with a good script. Learn how to write for listening, create audio in DigiYogi Voice Studio and add it to your video.
1. Write a script for listening
- Use short sentences — one idea each
- Add commas or full stops where you want a pause
- Write numbers as words when pronunciation matters, e.g. “twenty-five thousand”
- In Hindi scripts, write English words the way they're spoken, or in Devanagari
- Say what the video is about in the very first line
2. Pick the right voice and preset
Every voice in Voice Studio has a free sample. Presets exist for YouTube, Reels, ads, news, podcasts and storytelling — start with a preset, then change the speed if needed.
3. Create the voiceover with DigiYogi
- Open Voice Studio and paste your script.
- Choose a voice or preset and play the sample.
- Set the speed — a bit slower for stories, a bit faster for ads.
- Sign in and press Generate.
- Download MP3 or WAV.
4. Tips for long scripts
Split long scripts into paragraphs and create separate clips, so a mistake doesn't mean redoing everything. Then join them with Audio Merger in More Tools.
5. Add the audio to your video
- Put the audio track in your video editor and cut it to match scenes
- Keep background music low so the voice stays clear
- Only use music you have a licence for
